Biography

Nora Dasoki has a PhD in social sciences from the University of Lausanne. During her PhD she worked on the “Vivre / Leben / Vivere” survey to the Centre interfacultaire de gérontologie et d’études des vulnérabilités (CIGEV) at the University of Geneva. In 2016, she was involved in the preparation and conduction of the “The Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE)”. Since 2017, Nora Dasoki is a collaborator of the Swiss Household Panel and is primarily concerned with the surveys PSM Vaud and LIVES Cohort.

Expertise

Nora Dasoki did her PhD at the Swiss Centre of Expertise in Lifecourse Research LIVES on the autobiographical memory of elderly and more specifically on the representation of happy and vulnerable periods in interaction with critical life events. Furthermore, her research focuses on the regulation of subjective well-being in the aging process. Her research applies a longitudinal and retrospective perspective using life calendars tools.
