Biography

Louis Durussel completed his Master in Public Opinion and Survey Methodology at the University of Lausanne, Neuchatel and Lucerne in 2021. He joined FORS in 2023 as a scientific collaborator. His academic training allowed him to acquire a large range of knowledge in tools and techniques for conducting surveys and research in the domain of quantitative methods and statistical analysis. After completing his master’s thesis, he started working as a project assistant at CHUV, producing analyses of medical data for two studies in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.

Expertise

Louis focuses on quantitative research, statistical analyses and survey methodology within the domains of social, political and psychological sciences. Major of his studies deal with the emergence of the right-wing populism parties in Europe from a psychosocial approach. At FORS, Louis works on several external mandates and is responsible for different projects linked to the University of Lausanne (UNIL Mobility, UNIL Graduate Campus, etc.).
