Giannina Vaccaro (PhD in Economics) is an applied micro-economist with more than 10 years of experience working in Switzerland and overseas (England, the United States, and Peru). Giannina is in charge of developing creative and analytical solutions to answer economic questions, especially related to labor economics and gender equality. Giannina has identified and analyzed large administrative and granular individual level datasets to perform econometric analysis, recommend methodological approaches. She has also provided solutions to improve several companies’ productivity and social welfare.
Giannina is a quantitative researcher working on topics related to labor, education, and gender economics. She has a broad experience in policy evaluation and econometric analysis. She is trained to use economic models and acquainted with a wide set of methodological approaches. Her research interests extend also to questions related to Retirement, Health, Urban Economics and Economics of Development.
At FORS, Giannina develops and implements methodological and applied economic research, particularly using extensive linked data.
