Biography

Erika Antal received her PhD in statistics from the University of Neuchâtel in 2012. The title of her thesis was “Variance estimation via resampling methods for complex sampling designs”. She started working at FORS in 2013 as a senior researcher. She is responsible for the weighting system of the Swiss Household Panel survey.

Expertise

Erika Antal’s research interests are in the field of Survey Sampling Methods. Being responsible for the weighting system of the SHP, she builds up the different weights applying and adapting novice methods. She also contributes to the development of sampling strategies for other related surveys (Lives-Cohort and the additional sample of the canton Vaud).
