Biography

He is Prof. em. of Sociology at University of Lausanne. Previously he was researcher at the University of Geneva, Neuchâtel and the Federal institute of Technology in Lausanne. He was Guest researcher at the Universitities of Lisbonne and Grenoble as well as SciencesPo Paris and Chair of the Methodological Committee ISSP and member of the Executive Committee EVS as well as past member of the Methodological Advisory Board ESS.
