MOSAiCH is a cross-sectional social survey programme conducted in Switzerland by FORS under this name since 2005. From 2018 on, MOSAiCH will be self-administered (web/paper), and all respondents will be invited to participate in a follow-up survey.
The first call for question contributions under the new survey format of MOSAiCH met with a wide response among researchers in Switzerland. Five proposals were finally selected to form the ISSP 2018 follow-up survey.
The new MOSAiCH scientific commission was formed to evaluate this call for question contributions. The commission consists of a total of 11 experts from various disciplines working in different national and international research and teaching institutions.
The MOSAiCH-ISSP 2018 survey is still in preparation and will begin in March. Due to the new annual frequency of the survey, the next call for question contributions, which will extend the ISSP 2019 module on social inequality, will already be released in January 2018.
