Data access and research transparency (DART) are central pillars of academic research. Researchers in all fields are supposed to provide not only final results, but also have to show in detail how they have come to conclusions. DART has been a standard of academic research for a long time, although it has often not been enforced rigorously.
FORS and the Swiss Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences have organised a succesful one-day workshop on Improving Data Access and Research Transparency (DART) in Switzerland which took place in Berne on November 7th 2014.
On this occasion, a manifesto has been elaborated to advance Data Access and Research Transparency (DART) in Switzerland in the coming years.
